It seems to be a recurring theme w/ this sweeper.... that the pinion gear drive wheels (which are plastic/poly material) are going to wear out in about 3 to 6 years. My 38" agrifab went for about 6 years total before the gears were just completely stripped out and sweep would no longer run. Having to replace both the wheels, plus bearing/bushings... plus the sweep brooms. About a year ago I just reversed the brooms so they were cupping forward (instead of backward)....and it made a difference... but only for so long. Over all... I would not recommend this sweeper... simply for the lack of durability in the build. Other's posts will attest to this.
Parts: I've found replacement (geared) wheels from a number of sites online.... if you just search google for "44930 wheel"... you'll find lots of online sellers w/ the part for around $20 each ($40 total for two wheels). You're also likely going to need the plastic bushings for $3 each ( part # 450331). You'll want to be sure you get enough of these... some sites may sell in pairs... others not. You need 2 bushings for each wheel.

Fred,
If it's an Agri-Fab, you're best bet would be to call them directly at 800-448-9282. However, you may have luck with looking in your yellow pages for local lawn and garden shops and see if they have any repair centers or know of any local shop that may keep spares laying around. I know in my areas we have a few guys who work on these types of lawn equipment and sometimes have parts just laying around. Good luck.
